Data analysis from Hess wells is just one part of the company’s Lean process that continuously removes wasted effort and adds value across Hess Bakken assets. “We’ve driven our well cost down significantly over the years,” says Barry Biggs, Vice President of Bakken operations. “We’re talking 60%, probably 70% reductions on well cost since 2012. You do that by collecting data.”
